CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Southbound Interstate 75 has reopened at the Brent Spence Bridge after a crash early Friday.

Fire crews extricated two people trapped in flipped vehicles just after 5:30 a.m., Cincinnati police said.

Injuries were reported, and at least two people were taken to a hospital.

Traffic remains backed up, so expect delays in the area.

The highway was completely shut down for nearly two hours at the start of the morning commute.

One lane opened before the highway fully reopened by 7 a.m.

Motorists were diverted onto Fort Washington Way, where they could take I-471 into Northern Kentucky.
