MILLVALE, OH (FOX19) -

The general manager at Over-the-Rhine’s 16-Bit Bar+Arcade died in an Interstate 74 crash Monday.

Nadine Minton, 26, was driving west in the eastbound lanes when she slammed head-on into a semi-tractor trailer, officials said. First responders arrived around 2:30 a.m. and pronounced her dead at the scene.

The semi driver, 43-year-old Rebecca Reed, was not hurt.

A sign on the 16-Bit Bar door on Monday stated it was closed due to unforeseen circumstances and would reopen Tuesday. According to Facebook, Minton managed the popular Walnut Street bar.

Minton was not wearing her seat belt at the time of the accident, police said.

Cincinnati’s traffic unit is investigating the cause of the crash. It was not immediate clear if alcohol and/or drugs or speed are factors.
