World's best in tennis play in Mason

Live at Western & Southern Open

MASON, OH (FOX19) - The main draw of the Western & Southern Open began Sunday night, following the qualifying rounds for the men's and women's events.

For the next week, some of the best tennis players in the world will take the court at the Western & Southern Open.
Defending champ Roger Federer was one of the first to arrive at the Lindner Family Tennis Center this weekend.

According to organizers a total of 250 players arrived throughout the weekend.
Meanwhile, on the grounds surrounding the courts, you can find lounges, food stations and places to shop for the entire family.
Tennis fans are expected from all 50 states and 30 countries.
For kids there will be face painters, balloon artists, players signing autographs and exhibitions on the courts all week long.
