The trailer for the highly anticipated Cincinnati-shot film debuted online Monday.
The Todd Haynes-directed film, "Carol," is set in 1950s New York City but was shot entirely in Cincinnati in 2014 and filmed in such locations as Over-The-Rhine, Cheviot, Eden Park and Alexandria, Ky.
"Carol" stars Oscar winner Cate Blanchett, "Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" actress Rooney Mara, Kyle Chandler and Sarah Paulson.
Blanchett plays Carol, a married woman who risks everything when she embarks on a romance with a young clerk named Therese Belivet, played by Mara.
"Friday Night Lights" alum Chandler plays Carol’s husband, who’s suspicious of her relationship with Therese.
"Carol" arrives November 20 in the U.S., after premiering this past spring to rave reviews at Cannes Film Festival.
