Cosby makes good on last month's no-show
Bill Cosby's message was the same by phone as it would have been in person. Get an education. Be responsible. Make a difference.
Cosby spoke by phone for five minutes to about 250 adults and children at a Cleveland high school for an event billed as "A Conversation with Cleveland's Youth."
He called on young blacks to embrace education, have respect for their elders and believe they can make a difference. The entertainer canceled an appearance at a town-hall style meeting in Cleveland last month after a female acquaintance accused him of inappropriately touching her. Authorities in Philadelphia say they haven't found evidence to support the woman's claim.
