CLIFTON, OH (FOX19) -

A mother and a male relative face a judge Friday on charges they shot up heroin while one of them drove their van with her young children inside.

Bobbie Cizek, 30, and Justin Cizek, 29, of Hamilton were arrested Thursday on charges of child endangering and illegal use or possession or drug paraphernalia.

According to court records, they used heroin and had drug instruments while her two children, 6 and 7, were unsecured in their green, 2002 Mazda van as Justin Cizek drove on Martin Luther King Drive just before 6:30 p.m.

That situation created a risk of harm to the children, Cincinnati police say.

Both are held without bond at the Hamilton County jail.

Bobbie Cizek is the children's mother, records state. Justin Cizek is listed as their "custodian."

It's not clear who is caring for the children now.
