FALMOUTH, KY (FOX19) -

A Falmouth firefighter is recovering after suffering a massive heart attack at a fire scene over the weekend.

Firefighter David Klaber collapsed while while responding to a fire of hundreds of bales of hay in Pendleton County Saturday, according to Greater Cincinnati Police and Fire Chaplain Services Facebook page.

He had 100 percent blockage and was in critical condition, but was improving at an area hospital Sunday in a recovery that was described as "nothing short of a miracle," the group posted.

"Vent tube is out and he's doing great. They said it looks like no major damage to his heart!!!! Prayers answered," the page reads.
