Sonny Kim fundraiser sold out at The Precinct

COLUMBIA TUSCULUM, OH (FOX19) -

Restaurateur Jeff Ruby is holding a sold-out fundraiser Monday night for Cincinnati Police Officer Sonny Kim's family at The Precinct, 311 Delta Ave.

Ruby is closing the eatery to hold a special dinner with 100 percent of the $125 per person cost donated to Officer's Kim's wife, Jessica, and their three teenage sons. 

Guests will enjoy a selection of steaks, seafood, appetizers, desserts and more.

Officer Kim, 48, was gunned down June 19 in Madisonville in an attack described by Cincinnati Police Chief Jeffrey Blackwell as a "suicide-by-cop" ambush.

Officer Kim was the first Cincinnati officer killed in the line of duty since 2000.

A GoFundMe campaign created for his family has raised more than $200,000.
