COLUMBUS, OH (FOX19) - A Columbus hospital is continuing to observe what is being called a potential contagious person.
Medics treated a potential Ebola patient at Grant Medical Center Tuesday, according to FOX 28. The woman had reported she had just got back from travels to west Africa and reportedly had flu like symptoms.
FOX 28 reports that health officials have said that the woman has not been tested for Ebola and has been given a tentative diagnosis, but aren't able to say what it is.
More screenings will be performed on the patient Wednesday.
Road and an entrance to Grant Medical Center were briefly closed Tuesday as hazmat units were tending to the patient, according to officials. They say that's standard operating procedures during those types of cases.
