TOLEDO, OH (FOX19) -

He's mean (well maybe mellow), he's green and he's the new face of ResponsibleOhio's movement to legalize marijuana.

Meet Buddie the marijuana mascot. Decked out in a white and green superman costume with a purple cape and "B" on his chest, Buddie was unveiled during ResponsibleOhio's 'Green a Rush Bus Tour' in Toledo on Tuesday.

"Buddie will be getting college students excited about Issue 3 through Buddie's 21 and Up Club," ResponsibleOhio said on its Facebook page. "We generated a lot of attention at our other stops of in downtown Toledo and Wauseon!"

Earlier this month, Ohio Secretary of State John Husted announced the group pushing to legalize pot collected enough signatures to put the amendment on the November ballot. Voters will be able to have their say during the General Election on Nov. 3, 2015.

Buddie's most recent stop during was at Bowling Green State University on Wednesday. The group has not announced if the bus tour will travel to visit any Cincinnati-area campuses.
