The 36th annual Cheetah Run 5K was the largest in Cincinnati Zoo's history.
1,717 runners and walkers navigated through a course in and around the Zoo. Participants enjoyed the sights and sounds of the Zoo’s exhibits during the 5K.
This year’s winner was Matthew Behrensmeyer who finished the race just under 17 minutes and 19 seconds.
Proceeds from the Cheetah Run 5K will benefit the Cincinnati Zoo, one of the oldest nonprofits in the city. In addition, participants received free admission to the Zoo.
