LOVELAND, OH (FOX 19) -

Police are searching for the suspect who stole an 82-year-old woman's purse in Loveland.

Officials released surveillance video showing the victim standing among the cleaning products at a Loveland grocery store on Aug. 25.

A female thief, stood behind the victim and waited for the opportunity to steal the purse from her shopping cart, according to authorities.  The victim's house key and address were among the contents of the stolen bag.

The suspect is described as a white female with blonde hair and dark roots, police said. She was wearing a black t-shirt with writing in the front, gray shorts and flip flops.

She is seen in the store carrying the victim's tan and brown purse and she is seen leaving the store with the victims black purse, according to the store's video.

Loveland police believe a stocky white male appeared to be working with the other video. He is seen at the end of the video and rushes to the service desk to get a roll of quarters possibly to distract the employees as the female exits the store with the stolen purse.

The unidentified male has blonde hair, red long sleeve t-shirt, and black shorts, police said.

If you know anything, you are asked to call Loveland Police at (513) 583-3000.
