COVINGTON, KY (FOX19) -

A boy who eats at the same fast food restaurant every week was surprised with a very special gift from restaurant employees.

Workers at the Covington Burger King know they will see Maxwell each week.

"He comes in fun, with smiles on his face, and we enjoy seeing him here," said Tara Campbell.

The establishment held a drawing for a new bike a few weeks ago.  However, Maxwell, who has special needs, wasn't the winner.

The Burger King's employees decided to chip in and buy Maxwell a new bike—which they gave him Thursday.

"It just touched my heart. you know, I've actually told strangers about this. I can't believe in our world, you know what we see in the news, that people care for each other," said Ruthie Clayton, Maxwell's aunt.

Clayton says because the staff there is so friendly and engaging, it's one of their favorite stops.

"It was real heart warming. It was a good experience. You know, giving him something that he wanted, made his day," Campbell said.
