Teen, 15, suffers 11 leg wounds in drive-by West End shooting

WEST END, OH (FOX19) -

A 15-year-old suffered 11 entry and exit wounds in both legs after being shot from a car in the West End Friday, Cincinnati Police Capt. Michael John said.

The teen was shot on Charlotte Street just before 9 a.m., then ran to the 800 block of Findlay Street where police responded.

Authorities transported the teen to University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Police believe his injuries are non-life threatening. 

Police say they are looking for a gray Chrysler 300 that was last seen going eastbound on Charlotte Street. No further description on a suspect.

There have been eight shootings in the West End this week, according to Capt. John.

Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 352-3040.
