GREEN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

A Green Township man was charged two counts of aggravated menacing after threatening to kill two women and barricading himself inside his house, police said.

Police responded after two women reported that William Kelly pointed a handgun at their heads and threatened to kill them while they visited Kelly's house around 12:30 a.m. Saturday on Ralph Ave.

A Hamilton County Special Response Team was called to the scene after initial attempts to contact with the two women or Kelly inside the house failed, according to the Green Township Police Department. The Special Response Team was eventually able to enter the house and took Kelly into custody without incident.

Green Township Police say the handgun was later found to a replica BB gun with the orange tip blacked out.

No one was hurt in the incident.
