A truck driver is alive this morning after a dramatic rescue near Lebanon.
An 18-wheeler went off I-71 and plunged into a pond. Robert Buckner,23, couldn't swim and was clinging to the truck's antenna in freezing cold water.
Ohio Trooper Dallas Root swam out and rescued Buckner just as he slipped into the water. Buckner is recovering from hypothermia and is charged with failing to maintain control of his rig.
