U.S. Marshals arrest kidnapping suspect

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

A man who was wanted on an outstanding warrant from the Hamilton County Municipal Court on a charge of kidnapping and robbery was arrested Tuesday.

Michael Burroughs, 27, was arrested in the 4000 block of Forest Avenue by the U.S. Marshals' Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team (SOFAST) after the warrant was issued by the Hamilton.

Burroughs allegedly kidnapped and robbed a female victim inside a vehicle, according to SOFAST.

Deputy U.S. Marshal Charles Sanso said Burroughs is a reportedly a member of the Kennedy Heights Posse street gang in Cincinnati.  

Burroughs is being held in the Hamilton County Jail on charges of kidnapping and robbery.
