CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

A West Chester father is under arrest after Cincinnati police say they found his son inside a hot car while he was inside Horseshoe Casino.

Kale Burnett, 44, is held at the Hamilton County jail on a child endangering charge. He faces a judge Wednesday.

According to court records, the child was left unattended inside the vehicle left in a parking garage at the Broadway Street casino about 6 p.m. Tuesday.

At the time, the temperature outside was 87 degrees, police noted on Burnett's arrest slip.

Burnett was taken into custody shortly after.

His son's age was not immediately available. It also was not clear who is caring for the child in his father's absence.
