A losing season could be getting the best of Joey Votto.

He was thrown out of Wednesday night's game against the Pittsburgh Pirates at Great American Ball Park after going on a tirade about a strike.

He thought the pitch was outside, but the empire disagreed.

Votto had to be restrained by teammates and umpire before leaving.

Cincinnati Reds Manager Bryan Price also was ejected.

Major League Baseball suspended Votto for one game back in May after he bumped an umpire in Pittsburgh.

He also was fined an undisclosed amount of money.
