Rob Morwood bought a $5 rubber duck and ended up with a brand new car on Saturday at the Rubber Duck Regatta.

But instead of taking his new 2016 Honda HR-V for a spin, Morwood donated the car back to the Freestore Foodbank. Morwood, of Lebanon, returned the keys Friday following a Freestore Foodbank presentation at the Oakley Kroger.

He wasn’t the only winner to pay-it-forward with his prize. Dennis Wander donated his $5,200 in Kroger groceries back to the Rubber Duck Regatta organizers.

The 21st annual Rubber Duck Regatta raised $1,045,850 dollars for the Freestore Foodbank. That’s the equivalent of 3 million meals.

The Freestore Foodbank provides food and services to people in need.
