A 9/11 survivor spoke to students at Latonia Elementary on the events of that day he most definitely will never forget.
Jim Kronicz was in the second tower just before it collapsed.
Fourteen years later Jim Kronicz told his story of survival with a group of elementary students who weren't even alive when the horrific attack of September 11, 2001 happened.
14 years later and Jim Kronicz tells his story of survival with a group of elementary students who weren't even alive when the horrific attack of September 11, 2001 happened
"All of a sudden our building goes left, right and three grown men were picked up off of a concrete tile and put back on the ground," said Kronicz to the history class.
Kronicz said he feels he has a duty to the younger generation to preserve this history.
"Certain history should not get lost and this is one of them," he said.
He said even expected questions are still tough for him to answer.
"One of the children actually asked me 'did you actually see people jump out of the building?' I'm not going to lie to him. I said yes,"
Kronicz said he will continue telling his story because he is lucky to tell it.
"As far as I go yes I survived by the grace of God, and the irony being that was my son's 21st birthday," he said.
