The company donated its remaining stock on Monday morning to the Over the Rhine and Walnut Hills Soup Kitchens after closing over the weekend.
Kroger announced last month that they're closing the Corryville location to make way for a new $20-million dollar store set to open in Fall of 2016.
They also donated some pet supplies to Pets in Need of Greater Cincinnati.
The partnership between Kroger and the Kitchens has been long standing for years, according to a representative.
Those who are receiving the donations say they're more grateful than ever.
"I have to say we're just tremendously grateful for everything they've done for us over the years but especially right now, because we really needed them for the pantry bags and we also needed them for our meals that we serve in our kitchens," said Patricia Wakeham.
