MILLVALE, OH (FOX19) -

A 25-year-old man is under arrest after police say he led them on a lengthy chase overnight.

Davonte Hollis was booked into the Hamilton County jail about 4:30 a.m. Wednesday on a charge of failure to comply with police.

He is accused of speeding off in a gold, 2004 Ford Explorer when officers tried to pull him over at Moosewood Avenue and Bowling Green Court about 12:15 a.m., said Lt. Tim Brown, the night chief.

Police responded to the area after receiving reports of several gunshots fired.

No shooting victim was found at the scene.

Police did locate a person they suspect was shot at, but he is not cooperating with the investigation, Brown said.

Hollis was arrested after lengthy vehicle and foot pursuits.  Court records state he drove at a high rate of speed and ran red lights.

He bailed from the vehicle and tried to run off, but a K-9 tracked him down, Brown said.
