Two arrests made in Franklin shots fired investigation

FRANKLIN, OH (FOX19) -

Franklin Police have made two arrests connected to a shots fired investigation.

Initial investigation revealed that a Bryant “Tyler” Abbott, a 25 year old male from Franklin had fired several shots at a male victim identified as Joshua T. Miller on Sunday night. The alleged victim was not struck.

Further investigation in to the incident at Beam Circle revealed Bryant Tyler Abbott was not the suspected shooter, police said on Tuesday. 

Abbott was the one being shot at as he fled in a vehicle. The vehicle has been recovered with physical evidence of the shooting.

Miller, 25 , of Franklin, and Garrett McGuire, 20, of Franklin have both been arrested and charged with Aggravated Robbery, a felony of the first degree. Both are being held on a $100,000 bond.

The suspected weapon was located during a search warrant conducted Tuesday at Mcguire’s girlfriend's home.

The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are expected as the investigation continues.
