Special 'Scream Queens' filter pops up on Snapchat

FOX19 -

In honor of the two-hour series premiere of the highly anticipated show "Scream Queens," a special geofilter has been added to the popular video messaging application Snapchat.

The filter shows blood dripping down from the top and features the iconic "Scream Queens" title logo with the words "Pretty Evil" in pink near the bottom.

To access the geofilter, take a photo using the app, then scroll through by swiping left or right and the filter should pop up.

"Scream Queens" is created by Ryan Murphy, who is best known for creating "Glee" and "American Horror Story."  The show stars Emma Roberts, Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin, Jamie Lee Curtis, and special guest stars Nick Jonas and Ariana Grande.

The first season focuses on the Kappa sorority, at Wallace University, led by Chanel Oberlin (Roberts), that is threatened by dean Cathy Munsch (Curtis); leading to events that reignite a 20-year old murder mystery.

You can watch "Scream Queens" starting at 8 p.m. tonight on FOX19 NOW.
