Speaker of the House John Boehner got a tad bit emotional after Pope Francis became the first pontiff in history to address a joint meeting at the U.S. Capitol.
Cameras caught Boehner attempting to maintain his composure while bursting into tears on live television while standing behind Pope Francis on Capitol Hill on Thursday.
The viral clips show the Republican leader scrunching his face, then looking up to the heavens as he tries to hold back the floodgates.
Luckily Boehner had his handkerchief handy.
