Here's the locations of 2 OVI checkpoints Friday

CINCINNATI (FOX19) -

Law enforcement officers are holding two sobriety checkpoints on the eastern side of Cincinnati and Hamilton County Friday night.

One is scheduled 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. in the 2900 block of Riverside Drive (U.S. 52)

Cincinnati police and the Hamilton County OVI Task Force are expected to man the operation.

Thirty drivers have been arrested for OVI and 14 OVI-related crashes have occurred within one mile of this location since September 1, 2014, according to the task force.

Over in Newtown, a second checkpoint will run 10 p.m. to midnight on Ohio 32 (Main Street) near Round Bottom Road.

Officers will participate from Newtown police, the Hamilton County OVI Task Force and the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Patrols also will be stepped up near both OVI checkpoints.
