WEST CHESTER, OH (FOX19) -

Endeavor Elementary was evacuated Friday after they received an anonymous phone call, according to school officials.

Officials say the caller made a threat that they determined serious enough to take immediate action at around 11:23 a.m.

West Chester Police and Fire departments were dispatched and assessed the situation.  Meanwhile, children and staff were safely evacuated to designated safe spots and parents were notified of the situation.

Students were transported to Lakota West Freshman School where parents could pick them up.

Bomb-sniffing dogs from the The Miami University Police Department K-9 squad were on the scene, said Barb Wilson, West Chester Twp. spokeswoman.

Officials gave the all clear after the dogs searched the area.

West Chester Police will continue to investigate the situation.
