$100,000 bond for bank robbery suspects

OAKLEY, OH (FOX19) -

Two bank robbery suspects are being held on $100,000 bonds.

Justin Evans, 27, who is listed as homeless, and Samantha Conover, 21, of Milford are accused of holding up PNC Bank on Paxton Avenue near Wasson Road about 2 p.m. Monday, court records show.

Both are held on robbery charges at the Hamilton County jail. Evans faces an additional charge of receiving stolen property.

According to court records, Conover passed a teller a note that stated 'give me all the money in the drawer no dye packs."

The teller complied. 

After Conover allegedly obtained the money, she ran out of the bank to a nearby McDonald's, where she met up with Evans, records state.

Police say he took part in the robbery by assisting her upon her escape and concealing the stolen cash.

She turned $2,300 of the stolen cash over to him records state.

He allegedly put the money in his right side pants pocket.

Police arrested the duo at the fast food restaurant. 

Evans admitted to being with Conover before the alleged offense and taking the stolen cash from her in an effort to conceal it from law enforcement, records state.
