FOX19 -

I’m a "rouge" member at Sephora which basically means I spend entirely too much money on makeup. Some people love shoes, others jewelry but my splurge is mascara, foundation and lip-gloss.

Call it a hazard of the job or a necessary evil (that’s what I tell my husband) but I love to try new products.

My latest impulse buy is ‘Blotterazzi’ by beautyblender. The washable and reusable alternative to blotting papers.

Sitting under lights for nearly five hours every morning I tend to look shiny quickly and I’m not a fan of continually applying powder (it cakes up).

Beautyblender is the makeup applicator that changed my life earlier this year because it makes your skin look like porcelain – bye, bye fingers or brushes!

The ‘Blotterazzi’ is supposed to absorb excess oil without disturbing makeup.

I’m not going to lie, I still needed to touch up my nose with powder but I will give it a break considering I sit under lights more hot than most. And it lived up to its promise to not smudge my makeup. The mirrored compact contains two blotting sponges and you’re supposed to wash them every few weeks dependent on usage.

If you have a unique product you can’t live without let me know, I will likely give it a try.
