CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A new campaign aims to make Cincinnati a more solar-friendly place.
The Greater Cincinnati Energy Alliance launched its project, Solarize Cincinnati, hoping that makes purchasing solar panels for your home simple and more affordable.
Solarize Cincy is a community based solar program designed to inform residents about the benefits of solar energy and to offer support to those interested in solar installations.
According to Energy Alliance, Cincinnati homeowners may be eligible for an incentive of up to $1,500 per home for incorporating solar energy into their residences.
A representative stated that the cost of solar has dropped 73 percent over the past ten years, making it a viable option when looking for a cost-effective way to add value to a home.
