Arrest in College Hill shooting

COLLEGE HILL, OH (FOX19) -

An 18-year-old man faces a criminal charge in a shooting Cincinnati police say was caught on video in the 5800 block of Hamilton Avenue Monday.

Mesiah Amison was booked into the Hamilton County jail early Tuesday on one count of felonious assault.

He is scheduled to face a judge at 9 a.m.

Court records state that Amison shot Desanto Beckley in an attack captured on video. 

"Mesiah Amison was captured by police because he was also wounded from a gunshot when Mr. Beckley fired back," an officer wrote in a sworn statement.

    A man is in Clermont County Jail facing charges of aggravated menacing and inducing panic after an hours-long standoff with police Sunday, according to a press release from Union Township Police.
