SPRINGDALE, OH (FOX19) -

Police released surveillance photos Wednesday of a suspect who they say robbed a Fifth Third Bank Tuesday and then led them on a pursuit.

The suspect robbed the bank on West Kemper Road about 4:51 p.m. The amount of cash taken has not been determined.

Police say the suspect displayed a handgun, took an undetermined amount of cash, and fled on foot before running to a vehicle parked nearby.

Springdale officers were able to locate the suspect's vehicle and pursued the vehicle to the area of Sharon and Winton roads, according to authorities.

Officers deployed stop sticks to stop the robber's car, police said. The suspect got out of his vehicle and ran on foot from officers.

Police have not been able to locate the suspect.

Officials found a handgun, money and other evidence in the suspect's vehicle.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 20's or 30's, approximately five feet eight to 10 inches tall in height and has an athletic build.
