Tri-State drivers could see rise in gas prices

Motorists may be seeing gasoline prices in the Tri-State begin to spike again as refiners shut down for maintenance or unplanned repairs, according to GasBuddy.com

Customers could see gas prices rise as much as 10 to 30 cents per gallon over the next week in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.

Twelve refiners in the region are currently undergoing work: three in Illinois and Ohio, two in Minnesota, and one in Indiana, Kansas, Oklahoma and Kentucky, according to Gas Buddy. The work varies in scope at each refinery and may last several weeks or longer.
