The bond was set for the suspect charged with holding up a store, stealing the getaway car and then leading police on a chase.

Jessica Schmidt, 27, of Green Township is held at the Hamilton County jail on two counts robbery. A judge set her bond at $150,000.

According to court records, Schmidt allegedly entered the Dollar General store on Pippin Road about 9 a.m. Wednesday where the manager and another employee were located and demanded that the manager give her money from the register.

"During this time, the defendant had her hand inside  of her purse and told the manager she would shoot him if he didn't comply," Colerain Township police wrote in court records.

The manager opened the register, and Schmidt took money from the register, records state.

She started to leave the store as a customer approached the counter to purchase an item, they state.

"The defendant demanded the car keys from the customer again, stating that she would shoot him if he did not comply," police wrote in a sworn affidavit. "After taking the keys, the defendant then entered the victim's 2002 Ford Escape and fled the scene. She was located a short time later by police, still in the victim's vehicle and was apprehended after a vehicle and foot chase."
