CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

City leaders are considering renaming two city parks after a police officer and two firefighters who died in the line of duty.

The item is on the agenda Monday for the city's Law and Public Safety Committee.

East Hyde Park Commons would be renamed Police Officer Sonny Kim Memorial Park.

Queensgate Recreation Area in the West End would be renamed to honor fallen Firefighters Daryl Gordon and Oscar Armstrong III.

Kim, a veteran Cincinnati police officer, was fatally shot on duty in June.

Gordon died in a March Madisonville apartment fire.

Armstrong was killed in a 2003 Bond Hill house fire.
