ST. BERNARD, OH (FOX19) -

Two crashes closed northbound Interstate 75 in Ohio and northbound I-71/75 in Kentucky Monday morning.

Northbound I-75 reopened between I-74 and Mitchell Avenue two hours after a crash between three to four vehicles was reported just before 9:30 a.m., according to St. Bernard police.

Police and fire crews had difficulty getting to the scene due to gridlocked traffic in the northbound lanes.

A few minutes earlier, a semi tractor-trailer and vehicle collided on the northbound side of the highway in Florence. The interstate reopened around 12:30 p.m.

The semi spilled its load and caught on fire, a Boone County dispatcher said.

At least one person suffered unknown injuries.
