A judge set a $750,000 bond for the the suspect in a 1992 Warren County homicide.
Sam Perone, 67, waived extradition from Arizona following his arrest there last week and arrived at the Warren County jail in Lebanon on Sunday, jail official said.
He faced a Warren County Common Pleas Court judge via video arraignment from the jail at 11 a.m. Wednesday, they said.
Perone was ordered to give up his passport, wear a monitor and not to leave Ohio in the murder case of Richard Woods.
Perone faces one count of murder in the death of Woods, 41, a Columbus-area furniture salesman last seen alive on Oct. 8, 1992.
Authorities say Woods was shot in the back of the head.
They didn't disclose a motive, but they did say Woods' last stop of the day was Perone's furniture store.
