Cocktail recipe: Apple of my Chai

Watershed is a premium independent distillery located in Columbus, Ohio. The distillery stopped by FOX19 NOW and shared these autumn cocktail recipes. 

Apple of my Chai:
1 1/2 oz Watershed Bourbon Barrel Aged Gin
1 oz honey rosemary chai syrup
2 oz apple cider

Add all ingredients to a shaker tin, shake and strain into new glass. Garnish with a sprig of rosemary or one star anise.

Honey Rosemary Syrup
1 cup water 
1 cup honey
3 chai tea bags
4 sprigs of rosemary

In a medium sauce pan over medium high heat, add water, chai tea bags, and rosemary. Bring mixture up to a boil and then lower heat and simmer for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, take out tea bags, making sure to squeeze out all liquid from bags. Add honey and stir until it is well combined with the tea. Allow to cool, take out rosemary and pour syrup into an air tight container and stow in fridge.

Littlefield Boulevardier
1 oz Watershed Bourbon 
1 oz Cocchi Americano
1 oz sweet vermouth.

Add all ingredients to a glass, add ice and stir. Strain into a new glass with new ice and garnish with a grapefruit peel.
