5 things that were different the last time the Bengals were 6-0

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

The last time the Cincinnati Bengals started 6-0 was during their Super Bowl run in the 1988-89 season.

Many things have changed in the Queen City since that magical season. But, is it coincidence the last time the Bengals were in the Super Bowl Cincinnati hosted the All-Star Game at Riverfront Stadium?

Replace Larkin and Sabo with Frazier and Chapman. Maybe just maybe we can replace Esiason with the Red Rifle and the Ickey Shuffle with whatever dance Jeremy Hill picks that week.

One difference that we here at FOX19 NOW request? How about the Who Deys win the whole thing this time! Now that we looked at the similarities, we're going to check out the difference from 1988 to 2015.

1. You actually had to ask someone out over the phone… No texting!

2. This was the coolest after-school activity

3. Tom Cruise and Dustin Hoffman were in Cincinnati filming ‘Rain Man’ 

4. This was the #1 song on the radio 

5. This was the Bengals’ uniforms
