The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal two-vehicle accident on State Route 73 in Highland County Thursday afternoon.
Police say Carolyn Andrews, 61, was traveling southeast on SR 73 when she went left of center, striking James Olesevsky's Ford van head-on.
Olesevsky was transported by Air Care to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center with serious injuries. Andrews was pronounced dead at the scene by the Highland County Coroner's Office.
Alcohol appears to be a factor in the accident, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
