A man suffered multiple gunshot wounds after a Westwood shooting Tuesday afternoon, according to a Cincinnati Police sergeant on scene.

A 26-year-old black male was shot in the hallway of an apartment complex on the 2400 block of Westwood Northern Blvd, near Fyffe Avenue, at 4:45 p.m., Cincinnati Police said.

Police say the victim ran into an apartment unit where three other black males were. Medics found the victim in the same apartment with five bullet wounds to his body.

Medics treated the victim before transporting him to University of Cincinnati Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, police said.

Police say they are questioning the three people in the apartment where the victim was found.

Officials  have not provided any updates on suspects at this time.

FOX19 NOW has a crew on the scene and will continue to provide update to this story.
