President Bush is coming back to Ohio next week. The White House announced today that Bush will tour the Battelle Memorial Institute in Columbus on Wednesday to discuss energy policy. Battelle is a research-and-development firm that does contract work for the military and other government agencies. It has tested bullet-resistant vests and chemical protective suits used by troops, for example. It also has worked on technology to create the copier machine and compact disc. A spokesman for Battelle declined to discuss details of the visit, which marks Bush's 36th trip to Ohio since taking office in January 2001.
