BUTLER COUNTY, OH (FOX19) -

A man was arrested Tuesday after Butler County officials found approximately 60 grams of heroin, $1,2000 in cash and more.

A search warrant executed at a home on Urban Street, in Hamilton, by the Butler Count Undercover Regional Narcotics (B.U.R.N.) Taskforce, Butler County Sheriff Richard K. Jones said.

Michael Harding Jr., 28, was arrested after Jones says the search resulted in the recovery of approximately 60 grams of heroin, suboxone strips, $1,200.00 US currency and multiple items of drug paraphernalia.

“This was a month long investigation that obviously paid off and there’s more search warrants coming and more arrests will be made,” said Lieutenant Todd Langmeyer.

Harding was originally charged with probation violation. He faces additional charges of drug trafficking and possession of drugs.
