OSP: Alcohol suspected factor in crash that closed Ohio 132

STONELICK TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

Alcohol is suspected to be a factor in a single-vehicle crash that shut down Ohio 132 at Baas Road for several hours early Friday, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

It is not certain when the road will reopen, the post's Batavia post reports.

Troopers said Zeke V. Taylor, 26, of Blanchester, failed to negotiate a curve as he drove his 2007 Saturn Ion southbound on Ohio 132 about 2:45 a.m.

The vehicle ran off the left side of the road, hit a ditch and a sign, they said. The vehicle overturned and hit a utility pole and a sign. A dispatcher said a utility pole was knocked down.

Taylor and his passenger, Lawrence D. Waller, 29, of Cincinnati, were taken to Bethesda North Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Alcohol is suspected to be a factor in the crash, troopers said. Both men wore seatbelts.
