Suspect in UC groping cases arrested

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

The suspect accused of two groping University of Cincinnati students off-campus last month was arrested Wednesday.

Jermale Weathington, 30, was picked up by the Southern Ohio Fugitive Apprehension Strike Team, Cincinnati police confirmed.

Police say Weathington was wanted for sexual imposition in the two alleged groping incidents that occurred at the Ludlow and Whitfield shuttle stop in the mornings of Oct. 1 and Oct. 27.

He allegedly walked up behind the victim and grabbed the victim's groin area, police said. 

Weathington had several felony warrants and misdemeanor warrant his arrest, according to authorities.
