WESTWOOD, OH (FOX19) -

Cincinnati police announced early Friday they arrested the suspect in a fatal pedestrian hit-skip.

Police said Margaret Hensley, 42, hit Mario Sibert, 29, with her vehicle on Westwood Northern Blvd. near Fyffe Ave. and fled around 7:20 p.m. Thursday.

Sibert was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he died.

A neighbor confirmed with FOX19 NOW that Sibert lived in an apartment close to the incident location.

"He would come out, you know, and he wouldn't bother anybody or anything like that. He would just be to himself, you know, just a nice generous guy," said neighbor, Courtney Cox.

Investigators searched overnight for the driver spotted leaving the scene in a late 1980s or early 90s, white, full sized van with an extended top and a spare tire on the rear door.

"About 30 minutes later the Green Township Police Department responded to a crash on Lawrence road in Green Township. They were able to locate the driver of a van that was involved in this accident," Cincinnati Police traffic section commander, Lt. Bruce Hoffbauer said.

Hensley was arrested after police say she sideswiped a parked car while driving West along Lawrence Road.

They arrested Hensley several hours later and announced it by 5:30 a.m. Friday.

She is held at the Hamilton County jail on a felony charge of leaving the scene of an auto accident.
