WEST END, OH (FOX19) -

Friday night's high school football game at Robert A. Taft Information Technology High School will go on as scheduled despite safety concerns in light of recent shootings in the area.

School officials moved Thursday night's game between Gamble Montessori High School and Woodward Career Technical High School to Woodward, after two separate shootings left two people dead close to Taft High School.

Dawn Grady with Cincinnati Public Schools confirmed that after talking with Cincinnati police, the game between Taft High School and Hughes High School will be played at Taft's Stargel Stadium at 7 p.m

On Wednesday, a 20-year-old victim was found suffering from a gunshot wound after a shooting on John Street, near Taft High School, according to Cincinnati Public Information Officer, Tiffaney Hardy.

Officials on scene say a bullet pierced a window near the entrance of Taft High School but school was not in session at the time of the incident. Hardy said no Taft High School students were injured.

Hours later, two men in their 20's were shot and killed on Lockhurst Lane.
