HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) -

State Route 127, also called Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard) has reopened after a massive weekend fire at an industrial building.

Martin Luther King Boulevard opened late Monday between Dayton and Heaton streets.

Motorists will still see fire trucks in the area of the old Beckett Paper Mill Building nearby at State Route 127 and Buckeye Street.

Smoke curled out of the building early Tuesday, but the fire has not rekindled, Butler County dispatchers said.

Demolition crews have removed portions of the building that posed safety hazards to drivers and pedestrians.

They continue to assess the building and remove portions that cannot be salvaged from fire damage.
