Police searching for suspect stealing phones from Milford restaurants

MILFORD, OH (FOX19) -

Milford police are looking for the suspect in a string of robberies Sunday.

According to officials, a man entered three restaurants in the area of Milford Parkway and created a distraction before stealing phones and tablets from patrons and employees. 

Police said similar offenses are believed to have taken place in Union Township.

Reports showed that the suspect entered the Red Robin, Ruby Tuesdays and Mint Bistro in Milford between 6:30 p.m. and 6:40 p.m. 

The suspect is described as a black male in his late 20s wearing an AJ Green Bengals jersey. Police said he was operating a newer, dark-colored Jeep Grand Cherokee.
